God knows I love a holiday. The sun, the fun, sand that doesn’t freeze your foot off when you pad along it, and wine that is reasonably priced and cold. A joy. But no matter where I go or what I do after a short while I miss the air ,the sky, the feel of Scotland. It’s hard to quantify but the best part of any holiday is coming home. This old ad from Tennants sort of encompasses it. Yes a little dated but the sentiment is there as is the cracking song Caledonia. Swell with haggis and enjoy.
